Consumers now start their research for information for products and services on major search engines, therefore it is critical to have your web site visible to them. Generally speaking, there are two distinct search engine placement methods:
1.SEO - Optimisation for natural (also called organic) listings, and
2.SEM - Paid search listings (eg Google adwords)
When combined, these services provide a comprehensive online strategy to achieve your business objectives of:
- Generating Relevant traffic
- Attracting qualified leads
- Creating brand awareness
- Reduced cost per acquisition
Why should a small business invest in search engine placement strategies?
Statistics have shown that over 90% of search engine users abandon their query if the first two result pages did not yield a result they feel is relevant to their search. Thus, getting listed on the first page of Search Engine Results Page (SERP) is no longer a luxury but a vital marketing strategy that any business – big or small - cannot survive without.
What can a good search engine placement strategy do for you?
The versatility of search is ideal for any company wishing to advertise their product or services. Search, unlike any other advertising medium, allows you to put your products or services in front of your prospects when they are looking for you.
